Karissa Moser

Hi! My name is Karissa. I first came to the Rock in September of 2019 as a student in the Rock School of Urban Ministry. In September 2020, I, along with my two classmates, became a part of the first graduating class in the school. The Lord made it clear that He was calling me to come back to the Rock after school. After a three month break, I moved back to Kensington to serve at the Rock full time. Ministering to and discipling the local kids and young adults takes up most of my time and is definitely the greatest highlight. I am also involved with mission teams, worship at church, Bible studies throughout the week, and just helping out wherever needed at the ministry.

I was raised in Lancaster, Pa and have the best family supporting me. My parents raised me in the love of Christ and taught (are still teaching) me what it looks like to live a selfless life laid down for the Lord. Ever since I was a little girl, the desire of my heart has been to serve in inner city ministry. Now, I am 20 years old and it has been wild how the Lord has taken the passions that he placed in me and turned it to reality. I am extremely grateful to get to live in and be a part of this community. The Lord has been so faithful.

β€œThe thief cometh not, but to steal, kill and destroy. I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)
